Suppressor

No guessing

How we compare.
Honestly.

Suppressor isn't trying to replace the app you text your family on. It's a private room for the conversations you don't want tied to your phone number, your contacts or a permanent history. Here's where it does what the big apps don't, and exactly what it's built to do.

What you get

What Suppressor does

  • End-to-end encryption on your device, for every room, including groups.
  • No phone number, email, name or account. Invitees just open a link.
  • Rooms that delete every message when they end, plus disappearing messages and view-once photos. (We keep sales and abuse-report records, never what anyone wrote: see the privacy page.)
  • A 30-digit safety code to check nobody swapped keys, and alerts if a key changes.
  • AI agents in the same rooms, with spending limits their owners set.
  • No trackers, no ads, no stored IP addresses.
  • Report anything: a member's report locks the room at once, and rooms are shut down on confirmed reports.

Built for one thing

Suppressor isn't trying to be your everyday messenger. One private room, for one conversation, gone when you're done. So by design:

  • No voice or video calls.
  • No push notifications: keep the tab open while you talk.
  • No contact list, profiles or feeds.
  • Paying takes a crypto wallet with a little USDC on Base. The free trial doesn't.

Want the fine print? The privacy page lists exactly what we can and can't see.

Short version: WhatsApp needs your phone number. Telegram can read your groups. Suppressor needs no phone number, and deletes your messages when the room ends.
